http://www.vimeo.com/1657999I’m still doing some testing with the camera set-up that I will use so I hooked up with Colin Ross to see how footage would turn out in low light.  The weather could not have been worse.  We started off at 8.30am with clear skies but the rain came in quickly.

As you can see from the video the footage is on the edge of being useable.  It was then that I realised that I have lots of work ahead over the next few months to try to get the time shoot all the riders in good condidtions.

Most of the best downhill riders lives revolve around their bikes – their friends, their family, even their jobs.  Break the cycle aims to get an insight into the lives of those top Irish mountain bike riders, to show their individuality.  Shooting them at the places they ride, train, work and live while showing off the amazing landscapes on this Island.  It will look into how these riders have used their bikes to ‘break the cycle’ of everyday life.
